Friday:

We depart early morning and travel to Folkestone for our Eurotunnel crossing to Calais. On arrival in Calais we continue our journey to Bruge where we will be spending the next 3 nights on a bed & breakfast basis in the 4 Star Academie Hotel which is situated right in the centre of Bruge. (Hotel website www.hotelacademie.be)

Saturday:

Free day in Bruge to explore the Christmas Markets with it's wondeful Ice Rink situated in the Market Square. Or if you would prefer to Explore the city of Bruge there are many sights to see, the famous "Minnewater" Lake of Love is just 50 metres from the hotel, or why not visit the Chocolate Museum Choco-story, which is a chocolate trail and a chocolate fair. After sampling this tasty universe it goes without saying Bruges is the world's capital of Chocolate.

Sunday:

After breakfast we take you to the seaside resort of Ostend, which aslo has an Ice Rink like Bruges and boasts a lovely harbour. Try some of the wonderful shellfish sold by the local fishermen and also visit the wonderful shopping stores. We return you back to Bruges late afternoon.

Monday:

After breakfast, it's time to say goodbye to this wonderful city and head back into France stopping at a Fench Hypermarket before boarding the shuttle back to England. we estimate to arrive home early evening.
